Liyah (karin) bio

Singer and songwriter Liyah graduated from School of Fine Arts. As a child, she studied piano and guitar and received seven years of vocal training.  At the age of 10 she began singing professionally and gave her first live performance at the Cobra Festival.  She continued entertaining the public at major national festivals and appeared on numerous Israeli talk shows,
Liyah has performed throughout the Middle East, Europe and North America and her show  “Ladies Soul: Tribute to Aretha Franklin,”  became a big attraction in renowned nightclubs. Liyah has also produced and written lyrics for her own productions as well as for other artists.   She also recorded a top selling CD with the well-known artist, Rita and recorded with hit makers, Kool and the Gang on their new album.
Her New York City performances include: Red Lion Club (Bleeker St.), Canal Room (Soho), Village Underground (West 3rd St.), The Groove, Cupping Room, Larger Than Life Show with Alabina in Great Neck Long Island.  She has performed before thousands of people at Las Vegas’  Venetian Hotel and Casino. Deutche Bank hired Liyah to sing for their Superbowl commercial spot. Several corporate sponsors have flown Liyah all over the world to perform for them in Miami, Georgia, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Italy, London, Scotland, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
